Confessions from Scripture: Wisdom and Revelation from God

Wisdom from God: For The Lord provides me wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for me because I am upright. He is a shield because I walk in integrity; that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints. Thus, I will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path. For wisdom will enter into my heart. Knowledge will be pleasant to my soul. Discretion will watch over me. Understanding will keep me, to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things. Proverbs 2:6-12

Granted a spirit of wisdom and revelation: God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory has given to us a spirit of wisdom and revelation to gain insight into a full knowledge of him. Ephesians 1:17

Not received the spirit of the world: I have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God. 1 Corinthians 2:12

Spiritual discernment: We who are spiritual discern (test, prove, try) all things, and we ourselves are judged by no one. 1 Corinthians 2:15

Possessing the mind of Christ: For who has known the mind of the Lord, that we should instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ, that is, his way of thinking and purposes of his heart. 1 Corinthians 2:16

Filled all spiritual wisdom: I have been filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that I may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who made me fit to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light. Colossians 1:10-12

The anointing we have received: As from me, the anointing which I received from God remains in you, because I do not depart from what I heard from the beginning. As a result, I do not need for anyone to teach me. But as his anointing teaches me concerning all things, (as I meditate in his word); the anointing is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught me to remain in him. 1 John 2:27

An understanding from God: We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Thus, as an obedient child, I keep myself from yielding to idols. 1 John 5:20, 21

We know our Lord’s voice: Lord Jesus, you call us, your sheep by name, and lead us out. When you bring out your own sheep, you go before us, and we follow you, for we know your voice. We will by no means follow a stranger, but we will flee from him; for we do not know the voice of strangers.” John 10:3-4

A tongue of the instructed: The Lord God has given me the tongue of the instructed, that I may know how to sustain with words him who is weary: he wakens morning by morning; he wakens my ear to hear as those who are taught. Isaiah 50:4
