Confessions from Scripture: Walking in Peace

Peace, not as the world gives: Christ has left me his peace. His peace he has given to me and not the peace that the world gives. Thus, I do not let my heart be troubled, or let it be fearful. John 14:27

Christ overcame the world: Through my u n i o n with Christ I have peace through the things that He has spoken to me. In the world I will encounter oppression; but I take courage because Christ has overcome the world. John 16:33

Let the peace of God rule: I let the peace of God rule in my heart, since I was called in one body to peace with thankfulness. Colossians 3:15

No stumbling: I have great peace because I love God’s law. Nothing causes me to stumble. Psalms 119:165

The source of perfect peace: You will keep me in perfect peace, because my mind is fixed on you; because I place my confidence in you. Isaiah 26:3

Guarded by the Peace of God: Because I override anxiety by taking every issue and request to God through prayer and petition with thanksgiving; therefore the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guards my heart and my mind through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6, 7

Peace is like a river: You are the Lord my Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: the Lord my God, who teaches me to profit, who leads me by the way that I should go. Because I have followed to your commands I have peace like a river, and righteousness as the waves of the sea Isaiah 58:17, 18

Sleep in peace: In peace I will lay myself down and sleep, for you, Lord alone, make me live in safety. Psalms 4:8

Mind of the Spirit: For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace; I’m not in the flesh but in the Spirit, because the Spirit of God dwells in me. Romans 8:6, 8

Peace, healing and truth: You Lord bring us health and healing; You reveal to us an abundance of peace and truth. Jeremiah 33:6

Filled with all joy and peace: Now the God of hope fills me with all joy and peace as I exercise my faith, so that I will abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

His covenant of peace shall not be removed: The Lord who has mercy on me has promised that even if the mountains should depart, and the hills are removed yet His loving kindness shall not depart from me neither shall His covenant of peace be removed. Isaiah 54:10
