Confessions from Scripture: Our Victory

Strength renewed: The everlasting God, The Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint, neither is weary; there is no searching of his understanding. He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but because I wait, hope and am confident in The Lord he shall renew my strength; I will mount up with wings as eagles; I will run, and not be weary; I will walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:28-31

Able to do all things: I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Philippians 5:13

Greater is he that is within me: I don’t believe every spirit, but I test the spirits, to determine if they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Yet, as one of God children, I have overcome them; because greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:1, 4

We overcome the world: Whoever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: even my faith. Who are they that overcome the world, but those like me who believe that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:4, 5

No fear: For God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7

Not overcomed by evil: I am not overcome by evil, rather I overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21

More than a conqueror: In all these things, I am more than conqueror through him who loves me. Romans 8:37

Victorious by the blood and my testimony: By the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of my testimony I overcome the accuser. I do not love my life, even to death. Revelation 12:11

Christ leads us in his triumph: Now thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads me in triumph, and reveals through me the sweet aroma of his knowledge in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14

Who can be against us: What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31

Strength from knowing God: Because I know my God I shall be strong, and take action. Daniel 11:32

His grace is sufficient: Christ has promised me that his grace is sufficient for me, for his power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
