Get ready for victory in your life, in your home and in your community in 2012. For the Lord wants to prove himself to you; to demonstrate that he is your source. Here are four keys that if you will follow them will bring about the victory you desire in 2012.

1. Adopt a new perspective. First see yourself differently. You are not the ordinary or average person that you think that you are. There is something different about you. You are the one with an answer for those who are suffering; for those you are seeking the answer to problems, obstacles and setbacks in their lives. You are the one who knows that God can be your source and you can share this good news with them. Thus, recognise that you are the person that those around you want to talk to and discover the answers they are searching for.

But also we need to see others differently. We see their limitations and their faults, though they may not be aware of these. The truth is that they do not know better. Thus, we need to change our expectations and show them more grace.

And we also must see God differently. He has a different agenda than we do; He follows a different time table. And He is interested in us and our problems, both big and small. He is ready to help us, yet we have to be open to Him and his ways of doing things and not go by our preconceived notions of how what we would like to see happen.

2. Adopt a new understanding that the problems we or others or society often struggle with are not necessarily material, financial or political in nature. They reality is that they are spiritual in nature. And they require a spiritual solution in order to be solved. Thus, it is necessary to first seek God for insight into the root of such problems as poverty, sickness, lack or strife. Then the proper remedy can be supplied which will bring lasting improvement.

3. God’s love, grace and wisdom are our tools for dealing with the limitations of others; for those who are weak and struggling and for those who disagree with or oppose us. We can find the  answers we seeks in dealing with others; God is our source for dealing with all kinds of people any situation. It is just a matter of our turning to him when difficulties arise.

4. And finally, recognize that taking time to listen to God and then obeying his instructions are the means to receiving your provision, your guidance, your healing, your protection, etc., whatever you need. Do not look to your own ideas or make your own plans. God has got something better, something that you have not thought of available for you so you can experience victory in 2012.
